Lunch Buddies
Our Lunch Buddy Program is designed to bring our program into schools to reach more children. Each Lunch Buddy Volunteer is matched with a student in one of the following Rush County Schools: Arlington Elementary, Mays Community Academy, Milroy Elementary, Rushville Elementary- East, Rushville Elementary- West, and St. Mary’s Elementary. Each week the volunteer will meet with their Lunch Buddy to eat lunch, develop a friendship, participate in activities, and possibly help them with homework. Not all children will have homework but may simply need a special friend to talk to or play games with.
If you are interested in being a Lunch Buddy, please fill out the volunteer application below. Your willingness to volunteer by spending time with local children is greatly appreciated.
Students should apply through their elementary schools.
